These slices of an old decadent maple spark my creative urges. They could be vertical wine racks, kitchen or dining room tables or the ultimate conference table, with a glass top. Other uses wait to be discovered.
There are 3 of these rough cut pieces, 2 of them 86 inches (just over 7 feet) and 38 inches at their widest, and 1-3/8 inches thick. The other is also 86 inches long and 38 inches wide, but 2 inches thick.
